The Robert Applebaum Show on Shared Sacrifice Media is a weekly podcast featuring the thoughts and opinions of, as well as spirited, listener call-in conversations with the nation's preeminent half Jewish, half Catholic, gay, narcoleptic, former criminal prosecutor, civil litigator, recovering Republican, and founder of one of the nation's fastest-growing online grassroots movements: ForgiveStudentLoanDebt.com. Dubbed by BusinessWeek magazine as "a spokesman for a generation of people burdened with student loan debt," Robert Applebaum accidentally started a true, online grassroots movement in January of 2009 when he authored an essay entitled "Forgive Student Loan Debt to Stimulate The Economy" which he then posted to a new group on Facebook. As of today, he continues to lead this ever-growing movement of nearly 300,000 people actively engaged in the fight to restore sanity to the student lending system. In addition to his advocacy work, Robert Applebaum has emerged from the cacophony of online political debate as a thoughtful, rational, pragmatic, and occasionally humorous voice, championing progressive causes that are near and dear to his heart. Tune in every Tuesday at 4pm Eastern (1pm Pacific) and join the conversation! Call in, stand up & speak out 347-327-9615.
