The Shan Jones Show brings real life.  Real life successes, the journey, trials, and advice from people who have experinces from all walks of life.  I share my story...my life experinces with you, my passion for Restorative Justice in the home and schools, and my humor. 

Did you ask me what is Restorative Justice?  Great!  Restorative Justice (RJ) is an alternative approach to our current zero-tolerance policy in schools and traditional Criminal Justice System.  RJ is a way of life.  RJ brings the victim, the one who has caused harm, and the community involved and/or affected to resolve the issue at hand through a reached agreement between the victim and the one who has caused harm.  RJ provides conflict resolutions to resolve and restore. 

We have to take back our communities and become more involved with our children, all children.  As adults, we must begin to set better examples and stop holding our head down in shame when we have played apart in the turmoil we see from day-to-day.  We complain.  We cry.  We must take action.  Action is n ongoing process through the success and trying times.

We offer words of encouragement and strength.  We offer laughter, debates, and realness.  We welcome guest speakers to share your story, your journey!  We need to hear more good news, more happiness.  There are happy endings to seeking goals.
