While growing up in what would be considered an economically disadvantaged area, Troi was bussed to schools that forced her to become to hone her writing skills. She used writing as a means to express the frustrations that she felt growing up the daughter of a drug addicted mother and being the “nerd” amongst her peers. Troi has turned her writings into stories that many women and men can identify with. They come from real life experiences but are wrapped in suspense and drama. Troi is a part of the King Publishing Group family of authors.
