Screaming At The Radio: Gun Laws Don't StopCriminals

Once again America is faced with yet another shooting by a madman intent on hurting or killing innocent people and once again we are faced with the reality that not one gun law prevented the event from occurring.  Recently a Wisconsin white supremacist walked into a Sikh Temple and started shooting killing 6 and injuring 4 more.  So what’s the answer?  We can debate endlessly about more laws to control guns that criminals will continue to ignore or maybe we should look at how real, law abiding, Americans are responding to the violence.  Instead of calling for more gun control Americans appear to be giving up on the idea of depending on the police to protect them and are increasingly taking their safety into their own hands by buying a firearm of their own.  Will this lead to more violence…not likely.  Statistics have repeatedly shown correlation between citizen gun ownership and decreased crime rates.  We’ll talk about it all and a lot more on this week’s show.
