Scottscope Talk Radio 5/30/2015: We Are The Streets!

On this week’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, the roundtable welcomes the creative minds behind the mysterious superhero collective known as The Almighty Street Team!  Comic book creators Stanley Weaver, Shawn Alleyne, James Mason, Koran Curtis, Joe Currie, and filmmaker R L Scott SMP will be taking listeners on a guided tour of the Street Team universe!  They’ll also be offering their many insights on the comic-book and film industries.  Throughout the course of the evening, a myriad of burning questions will be answered:  Just what is the Almighty Street Team?  What was the impetus behind their creation?  How do the members of the Almighty Street Team standout from other such comic book characters?  Just how hard is it for independent creators to make headway in the comic book industry?  What obstacles do Black creators face when trying to market Black characters and stories to various publishers?  Join us as we accompany the Street Team into parts unknown.  It’ll be a wild ride!
