It’s all about aliens and Hip-Hop on this week’s edition of The Scottscope. Join hosts Scott Wilson, Chicago Wind, and Iron Lion as they travel from the slums of Shaolin to the farthest reaches of the galaxy!  First up, we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Wu-Tang Forever.  The clan’s double album opus is still their biggest selling LP ever, but doesn’t get the same amount of love as their classic debut.  In fact, most people consider it a vastly inferior follow-up to Enter the Wu-Tang.  Is its reputation deserved, or is it time to reconsider its place in the Clan’s legacy?  Also up for discussion is Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.  Does the Alien prequel live up to the hype?  Is it worthy of comparison to Ridley Scott’s 1979 masterpiece?  We also celebrate the 30th anniversary of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.  Does Steven Spielberg’s all time box office hit stand the test of time?  Is it still as heartwarming as we remember it?  Last but not least, we take a look back at Hot 97's 2002 Summer Jam.  Was Nas wrong to attempt a mock lynching of Jay-Z?  Was he right to pull out of the show?  These topics and more will be examined on The Scottscope, where we put pop culture under a microscope!
