Nurses being Extorted to Alcoholics Anonymous - When and How did this happen?

Why are Nurses being coereced and extorted to AA for 5 years , forced to attend 3 days a week? How did this happen. Why and how did it get so entangled. I am shocked by what some Nurses have explained to me what is going on around the country. This is outrageous  and must be stopped.
