We have a special show today because I invite 2 guests from two different shows yet united in a common cause, Honoring those have served and those who are serving.

First Cheryl & Robert Tolan of WELCOME HOME MILITARY HEROES Whose MISSION is to WELCOME HOME all of our local returning troops.

We may also talk about flying flags in Afghanistan with Operation Crazy Horse which is looking for flag donations to be sent to Afghanistan to be given to Soldiers who will be leaving the country to return home.

It then went to Northwood Gratitude memorial and Mr. Dale Jelinek. who  has been the driving force behind the creation, design and construction of the memorial park located in the city of Irvine California. I also  flags flown there

The nation's first memorial listing the names of all the fallen American service members in Afghanistan and Iraq was formally dedicated and opened to the public on November 14, 2010.

As a side story my 2 flags will be going to "Operation Crazy Horse" to be flown in Afghanistan and one will be donated to a serviceman who has served his /her tour of duty there.

As you have noticed the thread “Operation Crazy Horse” I have 2 flags that are going to be enroute to Afghanistan, one is to be returned to me. The other is subject of the story of a flag being flown at the Northwood Gratitude memorial to honor those who have fallen in Iraq and Afghanistan. And now is going too shipped there to be given to a service Hero in recognition of his /her service in that country. The hope is that at some point in time that Hero will tell their side of the flag’s story

I want to thank  Cheryl & Robert Tolan and Mr. Dale Jelinek for making this happen
