Bob Sofronski felt called by God to start Christian Life Prison Ministry in 2004. Bob has been involved in prison ministry since 1999 and the recovery ministry since 2005. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bob graduated from Frankford High School in 1983 as an All-Public soccer player. Bob attained a scholarship for soccer to Camden County College but dropped out of school as drugs slowly but surely took over his life.

Leading a life of crime and addiction for over 15 years, Bob was finally sent to prison. While incarcerated in 1997-1998, Bob’s heart was changed by the power of God’s love and forgiveness at a prison chapel service. Bob gave his life to Jesus that night and his life has never been the same. He is now dedicated and committed to the advancing God’s kingdom.
