Host Robin Milling explores the vineyards of Lynchburg, Virginia boasting 17 award-winning wineries, highlighting Leo Grande Vineyards & Winery in Goode and De Vault Family Vineyards in Concord. Owner Norman Leo Grande tells Robin he inherited his love of making wine at nine years old from his Italian grandfather who made wine in the basement, having him taste the finished product. The winery sits on 13 acres, producing 1,800 cases of wine a year, specializing in Italian reds and an ice wine frozen right on the vine.

Devault Family Vineyards owned by patriarch Terry De Vault is a family run winery set on 32 acres which not only caters to adults, but their children as well. While parents are sipping wine in the barn, converted into a tasting room, their kids can enjoy swimming in their indoor pool. Horses roam free in honor of his father's old-fashioned farming. Those roots were applied to his love of making wine. Combining that with devotion to family, he says his legacy of wine making will be passed on to his eight children!
