Robert-Harry Rovin interviews Julia Bernbaum.
Julia won her first poetry contest at age 8; her writing has always been a refuge. Genres of experience include poetry, playwriting, memoir, short story, journaling and most frequently, group free-writing and sharing in the style of Natalie Goldberg's "Writing Down the Bones" (also the format found in W R I T E O N !) It is here that Julia collects the missing shards of an otherwise elusive life portrait, a task she finds immeasurably worthy and rewarding.
