Learn Portuguese with Carolina Frederico: Lesson 1

Learn Portuguese Lesson One: Sounds, Days of the Week, Months of the Year and a few more tips. I am Carolina Frederico, or just Carol Frederico, a journalist graduated from Pontificia Universidade Catolica in Sao Paulo, Brazil. For four years I worked as an editor and reporter for Folha de S.Paulo, the largest Brazilian newspaper. Since 1999, I have worked as an educator, teaching high school students and adults writing and communication, with an emphasis in grammar, orthography, and writing construction. Since moving to New York City, I have combined teaching Portuguese with work in journalism, including writing and editing articles and producing news reports for Brazilian magazines, television channels, publications, and journals.
