Interviews Author Felicia Young & Lashawn Robinson

Today on Uplifting we will be speaking with Author Felicia Young who penned the book "Touchdown from Heaven"  She is the mother of popular former Madison High School, University of Texas – Austin and standout NFL quarterback, Vincent Young. She is also one of the founding Board Members of The Vincent Young Foundation, the Chairman of the Regional Youth Conference of National Baptist Convention of America, the President of  The Felicia Young Ministries Foundations, A member and current Chaplin of the Professional Football Players Mothers Association. Throughout the struggles of her life, including alcohol, drugs, and domestic violence, God has changed her life over 11 years ago and has commissioned her to minister to the nations about the gospel. Ms. Young is desirous of helping others through her faith-based ministry and music. The ministry has a vision to empower women of all ages and ethic groups. Our second interview is with Lashawn, a single Mom of 3 boys and a survivor of abuse in several forms-physical, mental, verbal and emotional and at the hands of several abusers. We will be talking about the effects of these different types of abuse.
