The Story of Betsy and the Fight for Betsy’s Law

In October of 2007 Betsy hung herself under the care and custody of Dr. Clinton, Medford, NJ after a routine eyelid correction.  Betsy had been dropped off with a loop lease on her yet an unbreakable collar had been left on Betsy after surgery and over night. Her mom Madeleine Kayser had been promised overnight supervision but that turned out not to be the case and her Betsy died because of it.  Betsy was only 16 months old.  Please join us with guest host Madeleine Kayser where we discuss the tragic events that lead to Betsy's death and the fight for Betsy's Law NJ BILL S1239.
