Marriage and Spiritual Warfare

Paul tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, not against our marriage partners or children, but against Satan and his demonic forces (Eph. 6:12).  God's plan for that commitment is under attack today, and being often overlooked by one ultimate source. The attack against the institution of marriage is a spiritual warfare.

Spiritual Warfare against the union of Marriage has been a pivotal reality and began after God created the very first marriage; Adam and Eve.  Since the beginning of time, the enemy has tried to infiltrate the minds of couples bringing a divide in the union God placed together.  His tricks are subtle and start off very low key.  Using tools like disrespect and broken trust, to lack of forgiveness, anger and sexual temptations; Satan’s plan is three-fold.  He is out to kill, steal and destroy the vows that a husband and wife said unto God. Understanding that you are in a battle is the first step to your victory. 

You don't struggle with that other woman tempting your husband, the true fight is with the principality and powers that want to tear him down and destroy the union God placed you both in.
