The bottom line is, Conte is no slouch - as a musician or a rock & roller. Shortly after his band "Steve Conte & The Crazy Truth" released their critically acclaimed debut album Conte went on tour in the USA and Europe, sharing stages with artists like Nashville P*ssy, Urban Voodoo Machine & Flamenco guitar legend Raimundo Amador. Working between records & tours as lead guitarist/backing singer and co-songwriter with the legendary New York Dolls, Conte produced his band's debut, a scorching 11 song rock & roll disc called simply "STEVE CONTE & THE CRAZY TRUTH" which features a guest performance by Dolls front man David Johansen on harmonica.
