Recover from Recovery

When do you recover from recovery? What is a reasonable time to get well?

Has someone told you, you can’t get well? Do you want to get well and you’re told or heard you never recover?

First do not accept that label they want you to admit to.

Second, you can get better, you are NOT POWERLESS, and it will of course require you’re participation, but after you learn how to not use a substance, and gain your confidence that you do not have to use it, then, you decide what other problems need to be corrected.

Self Correction is the right term to describe your recovery process. You will only correct what you feel is important. After your head clears up from months or years of using a substance, you will develop at the normal pace you set. It may require medicines, it may require seeing professionals, but one thing is certain, you will get better in degrees.

Labels such as alcoholic or addict are subjective and stigmatized. Integrated treatment is needed for all men and women with co-occurring disorders.  Depression is the most common form or mental illness in the United States. Recovery 2 Day or R2D starts out where any recovery system should by bring you the most current information. Educating the public and the persons seeking help is vital to their good health. R2D starts treating you the moment you arrive, at the first event that occurs, which is craving, obsession and stress. R2D helps you treat each and interrupt cravings. Cravings happen when a person tries to quit using alcohol or drugs. R2D can show you safe cognitive tools in less than thirty minutes that you can practice daily to help yourself get well. By using the BlogTalkRadio, R2D can keep you informed to the latest recovery news. Join us weekly and help spread the news, there is Recovery 2-Day and it starts now.
