Love, Submission & Respect

This was the question my buddy Edward posted on Friday on his FB page.

Question: Should my spouse submit herself to me even if I do not love her as Christ asked me to?

FEMALE # 1 - I got this one.....first one must ask God did He select that spouse or if WE selected the spouse. We must wait for confirmation. ..because submission to a spouse not selected by God is bondage and self destruction.

MALE # 1 - Each person has to give an account for their own actions. If I don't do what I'm supposed to do because she didn't, then maybe we can go to hell together since I'm following her lead. IJS
