Why am I still single?

The whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you God!  

We at Real Talk the Movement hear it time after time, people wanting to hang up the single life for a relationship and not just a relationship, a loving relationship.  That's a good thing!  So the question is asked,  "I take care of myself, I'm pretty, I have a great job and/or career... why am I yet single?  Honey, let's face it, those are outer ingredients.  I'm sorry, I had to add that in.

In my experience as a woman, I have never had a problem with being approached, asked out on a date or engaged in conversation.  The question is, in those few moments, what choices were made?  Was there a connection?  was I ready?  Was I a runner (you remember the movie Runaway Bride)!!.  You see, you have to go deeper than the surface.    Are you honest about the level of committment you expect...because you know you will also have to give. Do you believe you truly deserve the right kind of love?  Boy I can go on and on but I won't... we're going to save it for tonight's conversation! 

Let me add this though, some of y'all need to come out the box, the same routine gotta go and leave a few things to the imagination....ijs
