Where do you begin when you try to analyze all the issues going on in the world today?  Inequality of every kind (Financial, educational, racial, gender ) is rampant, escalating violence, and perpetual war all plague mankind. We are inundated with negative imagery and rhetoric reinforcing ideas that keep us from discussing and solving the issues that keep us divided.  Often times these issues are manufactured or made to seem more important than they really are, the time we waste arguing and hurting each other would be better spent talking to and learning about each other, what better way to get to the root of our issues. Undoubtedly we would discover that we are all much more alike than we are different. Our age old prejudices now have a new high tech ally, the digital age has brought much progress but it has also created a digital divide that is rapidly making this a very impersonal world. Talking has been replaced by texting, love letters by email, and date night is now Skype Night. Can’t we all just talk face to face?
