An Open Letter to Rwandans, Congolese and all our Friends to Protest against Dictator Kagame

Dear Comrades,

I write this letter on behalf of Great Lakes Human Rights Link inviting you to come in big numbers when holding our protest against the Rwandan Dictator Paul Kagame which will take place on 20/10/2014 near SAVOY HOTEL in London.

There’s plenty of suffering in Rwanda and Congo, therefore this demonstration will show the World and the British People in particular the kind of a man their government supports with huge sums of money despite his poor human rights record.

President Kagame bears all the responsibility for the suffering of all the people of Rwanda and Congo, but also the British government that keep supporting the man recognised as the war criminal president.

Our protest therefore, will motivate the British taxpayer, although they are not involved in the politics to pursue their desired goals, they have a right to know from our voices where their money goes and encourage their government to pressure Kagame to put to an end to the system that does not only kill its own people but also in neighbouring Congo.

As you all know our protest is peaceful and must hold the highest degree of respect for others especially passers-by or those who might disagree with you about any issue regarding your cause, do not surround them, shove them, steal their phone and call them different labels. Having a different view of where blame and responsibility lie against Kagame does not make someone a proxy-combatant for you to attack.
