3.14.11 Cheryl Hamilton Unforgettable Facebook Connections with Cheryl Resnick

Cheryl was diagnosed with cancer and went through treatment and recovery alone in a country she really did not know. Going through cancer and treatments was difficult for Cheryl. Except for her 3 rescue dogs she was on her own. Cheryl remembers feeling alone and afraid in the middle of the night. It was the most horrendous part of having cancer. She is now cancer free and determined that no one will ever feel alone and scared in the middle of the night when they are going through their own battle. Her life has been centred around computers for several years now. From her own experiences, she decided that she would set up a Website to help those who might be alone and afraid and have no one to connect with. She had the name for a long time...Wings to Fly and found when she set it up that the name was already taken so she added the UK. She found Facebook a wonderful alternative to a website and made a start since so much of the world now connects through social networks. Cheryl will continue on with a FaceBook page and will eventually have a website by the same name. The page is open to any and all, regardless of gender, age, religion, political affiliation, etc. The main focus of Wings to Fly UK is to give people HOPE when they feel they have none. HOPE can and is a huge word. My grandmother who was the reason I have been able to endure all the storms in my life was named HOPE. I have pasted below directly from the Wings to Fly UK FaceBook page that gives an idea of what and why it has been started. Wings to Fly UK is established to offer comfort and HOPE to all those who might need a kind word, an understanding heart, a shoulder to cry on, or HOPE when there seems to be none left. The reason for this page is to assist those who seek support and strength to stand against all odds. Any and all are welcome here no matter what the reason. Open to all those who seek shelter from 'the storm'. We are here, lean on us.
