On Monday, Nov. 10, noon PT/3 p.m. ET/9 p.m. UK, Purpose Talk Radio host Cindy Freeman will honor veterans. Her guest Thomas Sherbrook will share how what he learned in the military has been beneficial in other careers and vice versa.
Tom started his career after high school studying to become a priest. However, prior to taking his final vows, he decided to take another path and studied economics and then engineering. In 1955 the Korean War draft interrupted his studies. He enlisted in the US Army, joining the Counter-Intelligence Corps as an agent. After a year studying investigations and intelligence gathering, he served two years in Korea in intelligence. The final year of his 3-year enlistment was working for the Department of the Army in the Northern California area as an Army investigator. Since his honorable discharge he has owned a business, taken care of his aging parents, gotten married, raised a family and become a non-denominational minister.
