The Truth About Pornography Part 3

How many times have you gone to the mall or jewelry store to purchase a ring or a diamond, and after hours of studying and examining which one suites you, you soon discover that its not a real diamond afterall! Thats right, its a fake imitation designed to make you think its the real thing. Yet how many times have we been duped by the same lie about ography. And with much regret I can recall many years ago I thought that a few glances of a ographic magazine on occassion wouldn't hurt me, in fact it seemed to ease my trouble and pains for the moment. But then I noticed I was becoming too attached by something that would seek to destroy me. Perhaps you too have bought into the lie of ography as well. Satan loves to whisper little lies like "ography will only help your marriage", "makes you feel good do it", " go ahead it will take your mind off your stress" or I will stop indulging in when I get married. Jer 2:13 says My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water. So the real truth is we have settled for cheap imitation sex over lasting and fulfilling relationship with our wives. Truth is, Your enslavement to these images will destroy and hurt those you love.....their the real casualties of this spiritual war. ography of any form can never deliver on its promises and can never fulfill our hearts like God can, but it can most certainly bring long lasting consequences with greater hurt and pain than we expected, and just like a tornado leaves much carnage and devestation and a feeling and sense of loneliness when all that we held dear to us, family and friends,  are gone. There you are left holding the pieces of broken cisterns that could never be filled because we believed the lie. Thats the cold truth about ography.
