THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW SLAVERY ENDED

It has been said by the slave master; that Africans sold their own people into slavery. And this has caused many Africans in the Diaspora to blindly disassociate themselves from anything African to the African continent itself.

The truth, however, remains that though some Africans soon became slave raiders for their own selfish ends; they met their sudden death as the majority of Africans joined the fight and hunted them down – thereby cleansing Africa of any remnants of slave raiders and their bloodlines.

Besides, whose word would we rather believe; the word of the slave master, who treated our ancestors as property to own? Perhaps, it is about time that truth be told to liberate our mentally shackled brothers and sisters - by erasing this misleading word of the cruel slave master. This is the only way to restore our people and build our continent one more time. We must tell the truth about what really happened to us in the days of slavery, from an oral tradition perspective.
