Dream War was released as an eBook in July of 2010. Articles about him and his writing have been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, The North County Times, Today’s Local News, San Diego Magazine and the DePaul University Alumni magazine.

Stephen’s second novel Ghosts of Rosewood Asylum is scheduled for publication June 2011. Ghosts of Rosewood Asylum is a paranormal suspense novel about a paranormal researcher—who is himself possessed—forced to team with a rival TV ghost hunting show investigating a 19th century asylum. He uncovers as many dangerous secrets as he does spirits.

Stephen works as an executive recruiter and resides in Oceanside, California. He is currently crafting a sequel to Ghosts of Rosewood Asylum that chronicles the Xavier Paranormal Investigators next case.

Xavier Paranormal Investigators Fan Club was started by Stephen in January 2010 by novelist Stephen Prosapio to promote his yet-to-be-released novel, Ghosts of Rosewood Asylum, Stephen’s fictional ghost hunting group, Xavier Paranormal Investigators, quickly become the fastest-growing (and most fun) group for those into the paranormal. By the end of March, just weeks after beginning to promote the group, nearly 1,000 members had joined. In April, Liz Nichols volunteered to help Stephen reach out to the paranormal community. Many other members also helped not only spread the word about the group, but shared their experiences and contributed daily to the group’s activities. A community was born.

Today the group boasts 3,200 members. It holds major monthly discussions and several minor ones. Members help other members cope with and experience paranormal activity. The group plays fun trivia games and writes group paranormal stories. Several pictures of the paranormal have been shared. That all this has sprung from a fictional paranormal group of a yet-unpublished book continues to amaze and humble its creator.
