In the final moments of John Carpenter's 1978 classic horror movie Halloween, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) lifts Michael Myers' mask to reveal actor Tony Moran underneath. His face was only visible for several seconds, but it was enough time to make Tony Moran a cult icon among horror movie fans. Every year he appears at numerous horror conventions, where he signs autographs and poses with fans. In an interview, Tony said, "I was starting to act when I was about nineteen-years-old. I actually started when I was about nine, but I quit after one commercial because I hated it. So I got back into acting when I was nineteen or twenty-years-old and I had an agent who was my little sister's agent. (His little sister is Erin Moran, who played Joanie on "Happy Days") She had called me up for an interview and actually apologized. She said, "Well the only thing I got right now is this B horror flick interview for you and you would play a psycho". That was all I knew. I didn't know about a mask or anything like that." That B Horrir Flick turned out to be the classic Halloween! Tony does appreciate his fans, and appears at horror events where he meets fans and signs photos and DVDs, action-figure boxes, masks, and other Michael Myers related items. His work caught the attention of Paul Skertich. Paul contacted Dave through e-mail and suggested they work together on a case. Their first investigation together was at Gypsy Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Their investigation bore amazing results with a "Grade A" EVP (electronic voice phenomena) which they caught on their camera's audio. David decided to work with Paul continuously and together they formed The Illinois Paranormal Research Association. Since then they have investigated over 150 haunted locations and have compiled an impressive amount of paranormal evidence.
Their goal is to supply the world and the paranormal community with some of the most authentic footage ever captured. With so many phony videos floating around the internet, they hope to reclaim the name of Authentic Evidence. The team also offers free investigative and training services.

Clarence experienced his first UFO sighting at the age 8
Clarence joined Chippewa Valley Paranormal Investigators (CVPI) in 2007 and in 2008 became a Team Leader. He have cowritten two books with the team founder, Chris Wiener, and is currently working on a third book (in which the team will be credited) about UFOs. Michael has authored or co-authored such history books as Everyday Life During The Civil War, Fire & Ice: The Korean War, D-Day: June 6th, 1944, and Shipwrecks and Lost Treasure of the Great Lakes. Michael is also an experienced paranormal investigator, and has authored books in the America's Haunted Roadtrip Series - Ghosthunting Virginia, Ghosthunting Maryland, and is working on Ghosthunting Washington DC!

Its a episodic documentary style show about hauntings, anomaly's, cryptids, legends and folklore...its what would happen if Myth Busters crashed into Ghost Hunters on the Travel Channel. We take our investigations seriously. One of THE biggest goals here is to highlight different demographical and regional folklore in this amazing country.
On The Fringe is NOT Ghost Hunters, but use similar methods, and similar technology on a much more limited basis. They are out to disprove haunts, in hopes there will be evidence at the end that they cant explain. They want to gather up, and offer evidence of proof either way.
On The Fringe is group of friends on an adventure. To seek out the regional myths, legends and folklores of this country. How many of you have sat around the campfire late at night telling ghost stories, or stories of cryptids? Every demographic has one...or two or three. To quote Frank Mcfarrin of the Miller County Historical Museum, from the On The Fringe Fouke Monster episode: "I believe things like this are a part of a cultural experience, for any society...people need something to enliven their lives."
So this is what they do. They find all these great stories, and go and stand on the ground where they happen. This show is about society's and culture. Its about mythology and folklore. Its about legends.
They do take the investigations seriously. They do follow generally accepted guidelines for paranormal/cryptozoological research...but the end result isnt about the proving/disproving of a story, its about the getting there.
However, they truly do hope that proof is waiting for them.
