'The Mayor of Melrose' Ed Garcia Conde chats with PRSUN Radio

Ed blogs about his beloved Melrose neighborhood in the South Bronx. Ed is my guest at 9 p.m. Tuesday at PRSUN Radio. Here's his bio: Ed Garcia Conde– Ed (or Eduardo) is a social media consultant and successful blogger, president and Editor-in-Chief of Welcome2Melrose. He is co-founder and vice-president of the Sons of the Red Ribbon, a support group for HIV+ men, based in the Bronx Community Pride Center. Ed's professional background is as a real estate appraiser, work which has enabled him to become fluent about the histories of the five boroughs as well as the current social and cultural transitions of these areas. A lifetime resident of South Bronx and more specifically Melrose, Ed has been known to declare, “I am Google when it comes to the Bronx.” Some little known facts about Ed is that he is multilingual and other than Spanish, he can communicate very fluently in Italian both written and conversationally and a strong background in French and Portuguese.
