Saladeem Dewberry 08/20/1987 Born Daytona Beach Florida, Raised in Calypso North Carolina, Got a scholarship to play college ball at Saint Leo university, in Tampa Florida. Mom died when i was 12 from breast cancer, Dad died when I was 13 from a fatal car accident. Right after ended up having my older sister become my guardian, bounced around high schools, from Florida, to North carolina to back to Florida, a total of 5 different high schools in 4 years. Basketball and poetry was my way out of my own thoughts. Had my first kid at 27 which was life changing for me because you see something so small just grow and grow daily, attributes attitudes and they own little personality. Just makes you want to be better and better. Currently i'm training here in Florida to better my basketball skills and head overseas to a new country to influence and be influenced. The other countries respect an African american so much that it just feels you are royalty. everyday is a day to get better.
