***GROWING UP PROPHETIC***

Of the greater stories of prophets in the bible in my own opinion is the story of the Prophet Samuel.  His mother Hannah made a promise to God that she would lend her son back to the Lord if He would simply grant her a man-child (a boy or a "male").  She did just what she had promised the Lord that she would do.   As result of the promise; Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord from the day that he was weined from his mother's breast.  He grew up learning to hear the voice and to discern the voice of God unmistakably!  There is a difference in those individuals who actually grow understanding that they were indeed God's prophet/ess as a child, and to those who came on to the will of the Lord as a mature adult.  Children are shaped and molded into the will of God whereas adults will have to be broken as result of haven been shaped into that which is unusable for the work of God and for the edification of the body of Christ.  I have many stories to tell you that are responsible for making me the prophet that I am today from as far back as I can remember beginning at the tender age of 3 yrs of age!  It was not until my adult years that I realized that I was simply growing up prophetic, having been in the chuch all of my natural life growing and maturing spiritually and still in the church today haven grown by leaps and bounds.  Now that I understand my life I am able to see that God was in the details of my life and in the scheme of things concerning the most painful experiences that I will always remember; God was with me all of the time.  many of you out there have had similar experiences to that of mine and maybe even more painful and memorable than that of mine; let's see!!!!   Come on over let's talk about "GROWING UP PROPHETIC"...................................................
