From 4/15/2012 Martin Carriere is currently writing a documented chronological story of his family going at least back to Muireadach Tireach mac Fiachu the 122nd King of Ireland. He is author of: Carrying the Chalice Forward and Other Secret Stories of North America

Stories of the Metis and our descent from the early Celts who traqvelled to and traded with the M'ikMaqs over 1,000 years ago and a summary of what seems to have happened since that time.

He says, "I am Metis yet I am also, Huron, Arendakohi, Wendat, Algonquin, Petit Nation Algonquin, Cree, Chippewa, Saulteaux, Ojibwa, Mascouten, Montagnais, Abenaqui, Nipissing and others just known as Amerindian."
