Being Selfish

The word selfish can be considered an ugly word as it is often misused as well as misunderstood. However it could mean two different things. With Christmas Day approaching many children will still be expecting gifts and items that they may have put on their wish list. Yet there are many families that are going through financial difficulties. We are also still dealing with a virus that has killed many yet others are still believing that they are invincible as they are refusing to wear a mask, social distance or follow the Guidelines of the CDC which could infect the lives of others. With both the word selfish plays a part. There are also times when one needs to engage in self care and start loving themself where as being selfish is not a bad thing'.
