Tamara Tamanaha-Brown - Educator

Tamara Tamanaha-Brown has been working for the Los Angeles School District for the past 20 years. She's worked in the Special Education Program at the middle school level. For the past 9 years she's been volunteering with a program called Students Run LA and this year 2012-2013 was her first year coaching. The mission of Students Run LA is to challenge at-risk secondary students to experience the benefits of goal-setting, character development, adult mentoring and improved health by providing them with a truly life-changing experience: The training for and completion of the ASICS LA Marathon.
