In 2012 Kyle released his debut full length album "You're Not That Special" "You're Not That Special" received overwhelmingly positive reviews by many national hip-hop blogs and Houston media outlets. In 2012 Kyle was nominated "Best Solo Rapper" in the 2012 Houston Press Music Awards. "You're Not That Special" ranked number three on The Houston Chronicle's "Top 10 Albums of 2012" list. This list covered albums released in all genres. "You're Not That Special" was also named one of Houston Press' "Best Underground Rap Tapes of 2012" and Kevin Nottingham's "Top 10 Free Albums of 2012".
