Thanks Mr. President! Our Kids Now Think It’s OK to Smoke Pot

What a week for the United States of America and the War on drugs! Our President in an interview with the New Yorker stated” As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don't think it is more dangerous than alcohol," Obama said. An entertainer make be able to say something like that, but the President of the United States, is something totally different. The marijuana trade south of the border certainly appreciates your tacit endorsement of their green booty, however the people of this country would probably appreciate it if left certain things unsaid. Parents of impressionable children, that are vulnerable to being caught up in the drug culture, are now essentially rendered useless in guiding their children away from drugs, because you Mr. President told the kids, it’s no big  deal, no worse than alcohol.
