Wow. I have been a long time fan of her's for a good long while....she was actually my very first interview..My how time flys...I bring to you...Hannah Drake Carter...
"Uplifting" "Motivational" "Inspirational"
Author ~ Poet ~ Speaker
Some may ask, "What qualifies Hannah Drake to speak to the hearts and souls of all that dare to take a journey through her pages?"
"Simply living life."
That is what qualifies Hannah to write fluently about the struggles, trials and tribulations that we all face. Born out of chaos and raised by a single mother Hannah experienced many ups and downs that laid the foundation for her writing. Overcoming a tumultuous childhood, an abusive relationship, multiple relationships and the stigma of teenage motherhood, finally Hannah decided to loose the shackles on her life by taking pen to paper.
"Do I speak for all people?"
"No, but I do feel that I speak for a vast majority of people that have been weighed down with the bondages of life that seek to hinder them from fulfilling their divine destiny. It is through my story that I seek to free others. My life, a story that once shamed me, is now my personal cry of freedom. I am honest and exposed but I feel that exposure for the sake of freeing someone else that is bound, is worth it at all costs.
She has penned previous collections of poetry-Hannah’s Plea, In Spite of My Chains, Life Lived In Color as well as her debut novel, Views From the Back Pew and her most recent novel, Fragile Destiny.

Yuriy was born in Russia in and started writing poetry, songs and performing on stage while in his first college He emigrated from Russia to the United States in 1998 and spent 11 years in New York where he took a hiatus before moving to San Antonio in 2009. In 2010, Yuriy started to write and perform in English. He regularly attended open mic events and read poems at local radio stations. To his surprise, he received quite a warm reception from the people of San Antonio.
Returning to poetry was quite therapeutic and challenging, as English is not his native language. However, the revived passion for writing, spoken word and acting made this “cross-over” happen.
What made you fall in love with Poetry. We all know that we started writing to either vent, or get release from something, so let's use this love to write some fire to show the world why we love Poetry. Let's write about our Lady love is our topic join us for our 792nd episode of BevNat.
Kleft Jaw and Kleftikos Radio had so much fun doing their second open mic show a couple of weeks ago, they're bringing that fiendish concept back for Halloween.
Join us on October 25th (8pm WST/9pm MT/10pm CST/11pm EST). Kleft Jaw staff will be joined by a host of surprise guests. The theme for the evening is Halloween, and the door is wide open as to what that can entail. Surprise guests and callers just like you will join the show to offer their favorite horror stories and poems. These can be original works, or just pieces that have kept them awake during those long, weird nights.
Rumor has it that Vincent Price himself is going to drag his old body out of the grave, and join us for a conversation on the works of Edgar Allen Poe. Kleft Jaw cannot confirm the validity of this terrifying rumor at this time, so you're just going to have to tune on October 25th.
Whether you want to contribute your own original or favorite scary stories/poems, or if you just want to creep us out, tune in on October 25th (8pm WST/9pm MT/10pm CST/11pm EST), and scare the living hell out of Kleft Jaw.
