Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Perhaps these are verses that are familiar to us. Or, maybe they aren't. When we are surrounded by pain of all kinds, how can we look upon the situation and see anything else but bad?

"Beauty for Ashes" is the inaugural book in The Father's Daughters Anthology Series. Eight women gather together to show how God transforms wounds for worship, pain for praise, and tragedy for triumph. These real-life experiences show sour lemons turning into sweet delights. It is a testament to how life changes for the better when faith allows God to comfort, heal, and love His daughters.
