On January 31st, five DC area local teen entrepreneurs competed for top honors and seed capital at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Greater Washington Region’s Winter Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. These high school students presented their business plans before a panel of judges comprised of some of the region’s most influential leaders.
Today, we are fortunate enough to be spending some time with one student who clearly pulled off a “pivotal play” by winning this competition. This student is Jordon Brooks from Croom Vocational HS, who is with us today along with Erin Cribbs, the Principals Designee Business Education Department Chair at Croom High School. And finally, we have Bob Morgan co-founder and CEO of MorganFranklin Corporation who also played a major role in this competition.
