The Veterans' PTSD Project aims to change the national conversation on Post-Traumatic Stress by sharing Service Members' first-person accounts of hope and victory over PTSD with those who need to hear them the most - other Veterans. When it comes to PTSD, the terrain has changed.  In the last ten years, there has been a trove of research on Post-Traumatic Stress from world-class universities, researchers, physicians, and counselors that tell us PTSD is not the end of your family, your career, or your mental health.  The converse is true; we now know that Veterans can come back from PTSD stronger than before and that we can help each other by talking about what works. We are inspired by the strength of our American Service Members and Veterans, the dynamic families who support these Veterans working through PTSD, and ground-breaking research on Post-Traumatic Stress.

We at The Veterans’ PTSD Project believe that through changing the national conversation on PTSD we can help Veterans and Service Members come back stronger. That's why The Veterans PTSD Project is asking Service Members, Vets and their families to reach out to Vets in a way they may not have considered before: give them stories of hope.  We welcome your show as an opportunity to reach out to Veterans and their families to give them the opportunity to reach out to Veterans at the beginning of their journey through PTSD.

We invite you and your listeners to connect to us through our blog: http://veteransptsdproject.com/blog/ as we continue to shape the national conversation on Post-Traumatic Stress. They can also connect on Facebook. Thank you again for your e-mail and interest in Veterans issues.
