9 am Wednesdays, "The Tufts Get Going!" host Rosanna Tufts
Think Stonehenge is only for primitive peoples? Guess again! For the past 20 years, Four Quarters Farm in Pennsylvania has been building a NEW megalithic stone circle, the first one being built on this continent in 2000 years! Using only primitive tools like sledges, logs, and block-and-tackle, a couple hundred people get together every Labor Day weekend to add more multi-ton stones to the circle, in a project worthy of a Discovery Channel documentary. Sophia Kelly Shultz, a board member of Four Quarters, joins me today to talk about the project and about the Farm itself, a year-round facility for Earth Religions. The next Stones Rising is August 27-September 1 -- you can register at www.4QF.org!
