     Have you heard this story?  The recruiting race for eighth grader Dylan Moses is heating up, with only 45 months until his National Signing Day: Mack Brown has offered the 6'1, 215-pound middle schooler.

Texas has never offered a middle school player before, but those in the scouting industry seem to think that this kid is special: he's garnered eight offers, all from powerhouse schools, all without having played a snap of varsity football. He won't play in college until the players who pledged on the most recent signing day are already graduated or playing their senior seasons, but his unique physical skill set make him worth hyping early, apparently.

The Baton Rouge native, likely to play outside linebacker in high school and then eventually in college, is easily the most coveted player in the class of 2017. The Longhorns join LSU, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, and others in the hunt for the athletically gifted youngster.
