Bernice A. King - The Life & Legacy of Coretta Scott King

Elder Bernice A. King visits The Wealthy Speaker Show to share her insight on the book, Desert Rose: The Life and Legacy of Coretta Scott King. This incredible book was written by Mrs. Coretta Scott King's sister Edythe Scott Bagley and award-winning author Joe Hilley.

With the passing of Edythe Scott Bagley,Elder Bernice A. King is standing in the gap promoting her mother's book. Elder King will be conducting book signings of her mother's memoir on Saturday, May 26, 11:00am-1:00pm at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial bookstore.

Later on the evening of May 26, 5:30pm - 7:00pm Elder King will be signing books at Busboys and Poets in Arlington, VA.

The dream of Mrs. Coretta Scott King is being carried on through Elder King and Edythe's son Arturo Bagley, the books provides a first hand account of Coretta's upbringing in the family of proud land-owning Africa-Americans from Marion, Alabama, with a profound devotion to the ideals of social equality and the value of education, as well as her later role as her husband's most trusted confidant and advisor.
