Message to President Obama and His Supporters (Part 2)

A sign of a government's integrity is reflected by the condition of its most vulnerable and precious citizens, it’s children; and all the more so, by its children with special needs. The degree to which the government is aware that the children in its care “groan” and to the degree in which they do nothing to protect them from harm also reflects on its condition. America's school children are hurting. They are being brutalized by government paid teachers and administrators in our schools. Our children are being pipelined to prison and dysfunctional relationships, “by way of” governmental sanctioned abuse occurring everyday in American schools. All of the affordable health care services for which advocates are currently battling will be exhausted by the needs of children who are being brutalized every “today” and every “yesterday.” The terrorism that is taking place in our schools is one of the greatest contributors of our next war, which is already brewing. According to some bumper stickers going around, there are people out there who are “already against the next war.” The Hitting Stops Here! needs your support. Our children need your support for having them enter school year fall 2009 without the possibility of having teachers and administrators harm them through the use of, as Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey called it, “legalized assault and battery,” May 2009. We want our children exposed to educators and administrators who model peaceful ways of solving EVERY conflict. We want our children to be in a school climate “culture” that teaches Zero violence+Zero tolerance=Zero wars. It is time for America to become “Sweet America the beautiful” once and for ALL.
