Ms. Billie Weis - The Epidemiology of Violence

Ms. Billie Weiss' focus is on research related to policies to reduce and prevent violence and evaluation of such policies, more specifically the Epidemiology of Violence.

Billie Weiss, MPH, is Associate Director of the Southern California Injury Prevention Research Program/UCLA School of Public Health and former director of the L.A. County Department of Health Services Injury and Violence Prevention Program and founder of the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles.  She has authored numerous papers, and four book chapters. She received a BS from California State University Fullerton, and Her Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology at UCLA
