Join us for a conversation with Zarifa Roberson, CEO of i.d.e.a.l. Magazine, the exclusive quarterly magazine for Urban Young People with Disabilities (i.d.e.a.l. is an acronym for Individuals with Disabilities Express About Life). The magazine focuses on disability lifestyles, culture and political issues facing the disability community, and features fashion, beauty, health & fitness, entertainment, sports, and editorial sections. We'll discuss i.d.e.a.l. Magazine's efforts to climb to the forefront of voicing concerns in the disability community, and Roberson's goals to be the next Oprah for the disability community and to make the magazine a global household name.

Roberson is a 35 year old from Philadelphia, PA, born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congentia (AMC). She holds a B.S. in Speech Communication with a minor in African American Studies from Millersville University, and M.Ed in Rehabilitation Counseling from Coppin State University.
