Over The Top Radio - Cross Country with Ron Kiefel

Our guest this morning - Ron Kiefel.  Kiefel raced the Tour de France 7 times, earned an Olympic bronze medal and is a member of the United States Bicycling Hall of Fame. 

Ron raced for professional teams 7-Eleven, Motorola, Coors Light and Saturn.  Among a number of wins Kiefel may best be known for being the first Amercan stage winner in a Grand Tour when he claimed victory in Stage 15 of the 1985 Giro d'Italia.

Kiefel remains deeply involved with cycling as president of one of the most successful independent bicycle shops in the country - Wheat Ridge Cyclery.
