It's a story about a college student, Sondra, who leaves her small-town home, on an academic scholarship, and moves to the big city to obtain a college education. She dreams of being the first in her family to do so. After moving to the city, she unknowingly gets involves with a streetwise pimp name Vick. Alma Hudson writes stories based upon her personal experiences. She wrote The Trouble With Change to let everyone suffering from domestic violence know that there is hope even when you think things are hopeless. This is Hudson’s second book. She also authored Checkered Fences a story about an interracial relationship in the 1960’s & 1970’s and the struggles encountered during that period of change. Ms. Hudson is motivated to write stories that affect Urban Communities, that inspire, and that give hope. She possesses an Associates’ and Bachelor of Arts Degree.
