"When Paige Guthrie Hodges lost her job due to the 2008 economic downturn, she decided it was high time to change her beliefs about what it meant to be wealthy. She started to write it all down and as a result Redefining the Meaning of Wealth was born. The opening part of the book details her personal story of surviving unemployment and dealing with income loss. The chapters that follow feature optimistic yet thought provoking essays such as “Luxuries we take for Granted,”and“Quality vs. Quantity.” Hackneyed societal beliefs and status-quo thinking are questioned.
