Episode 13: Today is 9/11, we'll talk about the Mosque in NYC and other topics that concern our international, national and local listeners. Featured: Minneapolis, MN. (IBNN NEWS/September 6, 2010)…On August 25, 2010 at 1:54 p.m. IBNN NEW left this post on E-Democracy that read: “There's an obvious disconnect between what elected city officials say their doing and what really happens in Minneapolis, (especially north Minneapolis. We have already seen the lack of opportunity created by federal, local and city dollars being directed to non-profit developers - some of the non-profits in north Minneapolis have a severe conflict of interests that include being incorporated by city officials, elected officials spouses and those who would benefit because of their positions in the Minneapolis infrastructure. Until the residents of north Minneapolis and other parts of the city step up and speak out on what we believe are clear ethics violations and misappropriations of funds, those in power will continue to route dollars and resources away from the people who really need the economic stimuli. A fine example of the alleged ethics violations would be to follow the Empowerment Zone dollars - pay close attention to CCD/KMOJ and those loans that were "forgiven" and not recaptured to further the growth of the community. We also need to pay close attention to the dealings of Franklin Bank.” On Saturday, September 11, 2010 in collaboration with IBNN NEWS, Black Focus, the National Research Institute and The Minneapolis Story, “ON POINT!” will broadcast a special 90 minute program of the financial dealings, as we see them with documented factual evidence provided by a “surprise guest caller” we will interview on the show.
