Does Freedom in this Nation Provide the Path to ONENESS in Marriage or Does it Increase Conflict

We live in a nation of freedom and many believe this model of freedom leads to a correlating path to marital conflict. In scripture we view an uneven and imbalanced perspective regarding marriage and the assumed reasons for separation and divorce. We read a heavy male perspective on why and how men can divorce womem but not as much on why women can separate and/or divorce men. On July 4 we celebrate the independence of this nation and over time we see the separation of God's commandment for marriage. Personal freedom in marriage is not like the freedom we have as citizens. In fact in marriage we become bondservants to each other in love and in respect for seeking to see manifest in our lives the ONENESS God ordained from the beginning.
